PHIL LEWIS
Tiny Home Campers wants to take your ideas and put them into a unique and completely personalised design, giving you the ultimate in functionality whilst off grid, but with that unique styling that makes you feel like you're right at home.
After coming to Australia from England in 2009, I began woodworking and making furniture. I have a passion for designing and creating. There’s no better feeling than seeing a design come to life and being enjoyed.

After a trip to Canada, camping in the Canadian Rockies, I quickly became hooked on the vanlife movement. The idea of getting rid of all my possessions, downsizing my life from a 250m2 property to a 6m2 van was daunting and exhilarating at the same time. And so, the designing began.
​
I built ‘Edna’ my ford transit flagship van and put the house on the rental market. The time I spent on the road in Edna, living off grid almost entirely, which has given me an invaluable insight into the vanlife daily way of life, the pleasures, the routines, the issues and chores. This has enabled me to grow as a van designer and consider every single aspect of styling and functionality.
